WIOA

Employment & Training

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program at the American Indian Center of Arkansas offers a wide range of services to assist Native Americans with job placement, job readiness, entering the workforce, or advancements in their career.

EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING

At the American Indian Center of Arkansas, our mission is to empower the native community and others through our Employment and Training programs under WIOA, WORC, and SCSEP. We are committed to providing comprehensive support to participants, equipping them with the education, training, and credentials necessary for a successful career trajectory. We recognize that some participants face additional barriers, such as incarceration records or a history of substance abuse. Through tailored assistance and specialized programs, we ensure that all individuals, regardless of their background, receive the support they need to thrive. Our SCSEP program extends beyond Native American communities, catering to individuals over the age of 55, offering them opportunities to re-enter the workforce with renewed confidence and upgraded skills. We believe in meeting our participants where they are and guiding them toward fulfilling career paths. With our dedication to individualized support and skill development, we pave the way for our participants to achieve their career aspirations and contribute meaningfully to their communities. At the American Indian Center of Arkansas, we help participants reach their full potential, because everyone deserves a chance to succeed.
