I have stage 4 cirrhosis and disability pays nothing so I'm glad they are available to help me become self-sufficient again.”

My name is Melissa. I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and a Registered Medical Assistant, currently attending school for Health Information Management/Billing and Coding. The American Indian Center of Arkansas, and their staff, have helped to make continuing my education a lot more obtainable. Through programs they have, I was able to meet educational requirements set by the schools I attended, and obtain the certification, degree(s), and licensure for the studies I've taken. I couldn't have done it without the AICA, and their help~ especially in the course I'm in now. I'm Thankful to Everyone within the American Indian Center of Arkansas, for helping me make my dreams possible.

The AICA has played a very important role in my life for the past several years. From financial support to moral support and everything in between they have given me encouragement to reach my goals and become successful. I am very appreciative of everything they have done for me.

I couldn’t have graduated from UALR without all the help I’ve received from AICA. I’m working on my Master’s degree now. Thanks AICA for the caring and support!

The AICA team has always been there for me when I needed questions answered and I thank them for that. The phrase “Thank you” isn’t enough and so I strive to be a 4.0 student each term to show them just how much their support has meant in my life and my families.

If it wasn’t for this program it would be very difficult financially to continue my education. I am very thankful for The American Indian Center for all the support and training assistance that they have provided for me.
